Took photo's and measurements of mine before stripping off for a re-spray and had copies made by my local friendly graphics company.

No idea if originals are still available or being reproduced by any of the TVR specialists (but I doubt it).

Also had these made for the chimaera to break up the big slab of blue !

I recently bought some from David Gerald, new old stock for 25 quid inclusive. They were a bit tricky to work with due to some wrinkling in the facing paper, but they stuck well and look great.

Opps, sorry couldn’t resist, returning to the original question. Surface & Design replaced mine a couple of years ago and you’ll find they have access to original pattern stripes. I don’t know whether they sourced “original” ones or had some made as per the post above but they looked identical. thumbup

Do you need to stick to the original design, I plan to run a single or maybe pair of thin pinstripes and a TVR sticker in silver, along the natural level on the lower front wing and doors, in line with the chrome trims in the front and back bumpers, hope to complete this weekend, photos if interested. My thoughts are a little more subtle.

It"s a personal thing, but I really like Phillpot's Chimaera side stripes, although they could perhaps do with continuing along the rear quarter, possibly ending in a taper.

Stripes can transform the look of a car into a different league if tastefully applied
Or ruin it.
It's all down to taste & aesthetics.
Plenty of suppliers of stripes & decals out there, just go with your instincts. smile

I fancied stripes on mine. I prefer the S3 design to the V8S design, so I drew up a V8S in S3 style and had a couple made at a local vinyl graphics shop:

Be as wild as you like! cool

Yeah but no but the Chiim has a much fatter acensorede than the GT40 innit.

It all depends on the shape smile

Exactimo , Jo, thats what I plan, but gonna try a pair of red pinstripes with silver sticker, will blue tack them on and stand back, and still wondering if better for the sticker on front end of door or back end of front wing.... another job for the blue tack. Looking closely, it works to just stop short of the flares on the wheel arches IMHO, so thanks for the photo .. a great help Ta.

No Richard, he's saying that he's from Norfolk. wink

Andy, I love your stripes thumbup
A good example of how stripes can transform the look of a car from plain into something special & personal.

As you say, they don't need to be restricted to just the sides. smile
ETA; I never said they had to be subtle. Just tasteful, like my day-glo orange balaclava! biggrin
